By applying online or signing a declaration, you agree that we can use your information in the ways described. So that we can deal with your application, you have to make the following declaration:

• "I authorise Canada Mortgage Plus to make any enquires of any third parties for reference purposes or for confirmation of employment details and for the third party to disclose any information to Canada Mortgage Plus.
• I agree that Canada Mortgage Plus may search the files of a credit reference agency, which will keep a record of that search. If I subsequently take out a credit product such as a mortgage or loan, details of how I conduct the account
• I agree that Canada Mortgage Plus may undertake a search with a credit reference agency for the purposes of verifying my identity. To do so the agency may check the details I supply against my particulars on any database (public or other) to which they have access. They may also use my particulars in future to assist other companies for verification purposes. A record of the search will be retained.
• I confirm that for a application in my sole name, within a joint Canada Mortgage Plus plan, I have authority from the other party named on the plan to agree to a search on them of the files of a credit reference agency. I confirm for a joint application that I have authority from the other applicant to disclose information and agree to a search on them of the files of a credit reference agency.
• I agree to notify Canada Mortgage Plus of any change in circumstances relating to my purchase or mortgage before it is entered into."
